One way to define an oasis is “a fertile, peaceful spot where water is found in the midst of hectic sometimes difficult and troubled situations”. My Pastors’ Oasis group has definitely been this spot for me in terms of the restoring and transformation of my soul. My experience is, that for lead Pastors especially, these sorts of peaceful, safe and confidential places in the midst of local church ministry are very rare yet critically needed. I am grateful to God for such a place for me.
